LONDON NATIONAL PARK CITY

is a community-grassroots movement that strives to make London greener, healthier, and wilder.

"We want more bird song, ultimate frisbee, hill-rolling, tree climbing, cycling, hedgehogs, volunteering, sharing, outdoor play, kayaking, clean air, otters, greener streets, outdoor learning, ball games, outdoor art and hilltop dancing in the city."

DOORSTEP LIBRARY

recruits and trains volunteers to introduce the joys of reading into some of the most disadvantaged homes in London. Volunteers visit families weekly and read with children ages 1-11.

"We believe in the power of words to take children places, not just in their imagination, but in their lives."

THE CINEMA MUSEUM

is located in the work-house where Charlie Chaplin spent time in  as a child, and today houses cinematic artefacts and memorabilia.

"The Cinema Museum is culturally very important to the history of movies and gives insight into how things have changed." -Sylvia Syms

MEDICAL AID FILMS

creates educational  films and other media to improve the health and wellbeing of women and children worldwide.

"We bring together health experts with film makers to create engaging, accessible films – empowering health workers and communities with vital knowledge and skills about women’s and child health."

WALLENBERG LEGACY

offers fellowships and an annual award for peace workers such as the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, Elie Wiesel, and Aung San Suu Kyi

"One person can make a difference."

ZEITOUNA

promotes dialog and understanding between Arab and Jewish women through the practicing of empathy, connection, trust, and action

“In dialogue we don’t debate. It’s not my views versus yours--it’s my version and yours… Living separately and ignorantly traps us all in fear, hateful behavior, and moral rot." -a Zeitouna member
